After only a few days on the river, they realized that wet sandy clothes were no fun. Being nude was far easier--faster to dry off, faster to warm by the campfire. And no one in the group had any problems just being nude out in nature. Seemed perfectly normal, and part of the rhythm of the days you fall into when on river trips.
